The Milkshake candy bar goes further back than the 1970's. I was eating them in 1959 and 1960 on my way home from school. Cash in a few soda bottles for the 3 cent per empty bottle deposit and I would have a Milkshake bar for the walk home from school. Frozen or straight up ambient temperature did not make any difference.
