A 1st place blue ribbon award was given to our unsalted butter, while our lightly salted butter earned the 2nd place red ribbon. Entries were judged by a panel of experienced judges based in the Midwest.

The reason is that the organic cream to make our butter comes from skimming it off whole milk which then becomes our Organic 2% Milk. That is usually fine, but demand for our Organic Whole Milk has skyrocketed.

1. Fill your jar half-way with Organic Whipping Cream (@kalonasupernatural of course) 2. Close the lid and shake until the butter separates from the buttermilk (approx 15min or so) 3. Pour the butter into a bowl and remove buttermilk (keep for baking!) 4. Rinse the butter with cold water to rinse out any excess buttermilk.
