Townsend Church

Townsend Street Presbyterian Church was constructed to replace an earlier meeting house that had stood on the site since 1833. The current building opened its doors on the 13th October 1878 and was listed in 1985. The church ceased to provide services on 18th September 2022 due to declining attendance numbers.
