Chatham ( / หtสรฆtษm /) is a town in Barnstable County, Massachusetts, United States. Chatham is located at the southeast tip of Cape Cod and has historically been a fishing community. First settled by the English in 1664, the township was originally called Monomoit based on the indigenous population's term for the region. [1]

We stopped in Chatham Hardware at 624 Main St. to check out the colorful mini-cars in the window. The cars are for 2- to 5-year-olds and the staff puts them together in house. There's a police car and a taxi, but store president Michael Colecchi says the fire engine is the most popular style; all have functioning lights.
